Here you can chat without the restraints of not being able to say words like shit, or donkey punch. Heed my warning, there will be no bike riding allowed. In all seriousness, lets be as civil as we can, at least till game time and hope this format allows us to ignore or ban certain bloggers. Everyone is invited, lets all take a part in creating topics and doing the after game Ira usually does. I think this may work as a second home until Ira gets his sh*t together. And BTW....NO TROLLING.
"Do you know what I am saying?"
I wonder if I can make this blog in heat colors.......
ReplyDeleteI am still learning the settings. If anybody would like to be an author (create topics) let me know so I can add u to the list. This thing doesnt seem so bad so far. I turned off the word verification.
ReplyDeleteI think becoming a member of the blog is how u keep spammers away without doing word verification.
ReplyDeleteI heard there was a party here.
ReplyDeleteAccording to ESPN AccuScore, we're a 71% favorite to win tonight. I don't know about all that, but it'd be nice to see the other side of this Jekyll/Hyde monster, especially if it means our stubborn ass coach has amended certain of his practices.

ReplyDeleteI am still adjusting settings and trying to get use to this. Way to go Ira...
ReplyDeleteBack to basketball- what do u think happens if we go into the break on a 7 game losing streak?
YYEEEEAAHH
ReplyDeleteI claim this new blog nation..... "Petoria"
ReplyDeleteAight, I gotta watch the Knicks game but I'll be on in a bit. Thx for the blog kbboy
ReplyDeletekbboy, I think the way you had it set up earlier (requiring membership to post) was the way to go; keeps the idiocy down. People can sign up to be Followers, but would still need you to give the OK, by way of making them Members, in order to post. That way, you can grant permission to people you recognize from Ira's blog, without completely letting the floodgates open and dealing with the spam/impostor shit.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the question, you'd like to think a 7-game losing streak would bring about notable changes, as opposed to tweaks, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Riley's mind appears set.
You can post live streams of Heat games along with live chats.
ReplyDeleteThank you guys for coming. Remember to wipe your feet on the welcome mat. It has Spoelstra's face on it..
ReplyDeletePetoria? Will there be an impromptu rendition of 'U Can't Touch This' to boot? Maybe 'Spo Can't Coach This'.
ReplyDeleteThats why I did it the first time Hades, but ppl were saying something about it not posting. If the floodgates come, I have to go back and change it. Lets just see what happens.
ReplyDeleteAs for Riley......I think hes kind of like, "well we have gone this far, lets finish it". It probably would take something catastrophic at this point for him to not let Spo die out the season. I tell u what tho, if we pull off a deal for Amare without giving up Beasley, we better improve instantly. I tire of this lack of talent excuse and it will be gone if he comes.
Testing...
ReplyDeleteU guys need anything changed with these colors I will. Its all a test run.
ReplyDeleteI think you can upload a background like a heat logo etc...
ReplyDeleteSpo never knows what to do. NOW would be the time to have Beasley playing the 3, or even Haslem, against Landry. This man is so terrible with adjustments.....
ReplyDeleteThis is a lot better than Ira's blog
ReplyDeleteLandry comes off the bench and is fed the post repeatedly....y dont we do the same for Q?
ReplyDeleteSorry about Iras blog I didn't know it was gonna mess up like that.
ReplyDeleteBease was fouled on that play...
ReplyDeletewhy beas at the bench he was scoring? wtf is up with coach?
ReplyDeletebease in foul trouble
ReplyDeleteThe colors do make reading the comments a bit strenuous.
ReplyDeleteIt's OK HD#1, no biggie ;)
ReplyDeleteAt first I thought this was going to be an improvement, but then I see I-Win is here. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteDorell contested the 17fter and got the rebound.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm not wanted here then I'll leave. Peace.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what UD should be called when he misses he already has U-did it when he makes it..
ReplyDeletelol wow that was cold JB
ReplyDeleteWow nice idea.
ReplyDeleteFor A Udonis brick how about "U-Didn't!"
Should I do a plain black and white format? I was just experimenting.
ReplyDeleteNo it just pics
ReplyDeleteover/under
ReplyDeleteThe rockets tallest man has to be what? 6-9? 6-10? How much you want to bet we dont take advantage by playing Magloire? its not like Landry and Hayes shoot from outside. We play and coach down to the level of our competition.
As long as Jamie and Miles don't show up we should be good to go.
ReplyDeletelol. I- win is welcome here.
ReplyDeleteMan I wish Cook would've dunked that...
ReplyDeleteWow look at that, we run and we score. Whatta concept
ReplyDeleteWOW. Maybe its cause we are playing the Rockets, but this is nice. Change we can believe in?
ReplyDeleteIs there any chance this will be the end to Q rich?? Just give Dorell 35 minutes every night.
ReplyDelete"For A Udonis brick how about" "U-Didn't!"
ReplyDeleteLMAO!
Kaman
ReplyDeleteBeasley
Wright
Wade
Baron
NO?
Remember when cook baptized posey?

IMO theres no need for that. What we need to do is utilize Q in the post A LOT more. He doesnt have to start but he needs to play. He may be better as a sixth man, being allowed to score from more than just 3. Of course you need the man in charge to be able to see that.
Wright is a point forward. He needs to be around other scorers to be at his best. Hes Odom without the big frame and handles, altho I think if he stops being so timid he has better handles than hes shown.
ReplyDeletekb I think Q-Rich needs to be a backup 2 rather than a starting 3. He would bully opposing shooting guards for ages in the post
ReplyDeleteThe Haslem that rains his midrange jumpers is welcome in the Heat rotation
ReplyDeleteQ use to be a good post player before he went to the Suns don't know why he stays behind the line when his true strength is in the post maybe it's the plays being called for him but even when he gets a step on his defender he settles for the jumpshot he barely dunks anymore.
ReplyDeleteQ is such a beast down low. I just dont get y the lack of touches from there, but he allowed to rain down threes at will. I really hope SVG gets fired so we can get him back....
ReplyDeleteI've been clamoring for teh same thing even though its not realistic. Van Gundy would have ripped this team by now. I miss him dearly
ReplyDeleteI agree on that HD. He still has a ridiculous post game, but I do think he is timid when doing anything other than post or shoot. I personally think its this team thats holding back, mainly the retard in charge.
ReplyDeletePoor Beasley.....
ReplyDeleteCOOK!!!!!!!!!!! Somebody go get Josh so i can give him the finger.
ReplyDeletelol @ kbboy
ReplyDeleteFORWARD THINKING: Sit Dwade for the rest of the quarter.
ReplyDeleteSpo has a boner being able to play haslem this long
ReplyDeleteFORWARD THINKING:We get out scored for the rest of the quarter.

Doubt they can muster many points with 2 minutes left. These are the rockets we are talking about here...
I like this blog thing, I wish I could add more to it. Maybe have a section for the whole NBA.
ReplyDeleteWow, I just realized that Beasley has no future as a Heat.
ReplyDeleteHaslem doesn't have all-star talent like Beasley, but get him a Center that can score like Amare or Bosh, and Haslem is the perfect fit for this team.
yeah this was a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWell I'm bored. Better to be bored of us winning instead of entertained while losing, though.
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to get my TypePad account to permanently stick instead of having to type in my info every time I post?
ReplyDeleteIs there a game going on?
ReplyDelete"Doubt they can muster many points with 2 minutes left. These are the rockets we are talking about here..."
ReplyDeletelol true it's one of those few teams that are shorter then us.
Thank god for this site (Note to self BOOKMARK!!!) Ira's new TWEAK'S stink....LOL
ReplyDeleteThey're playing very well tonight.... Poor Beasley 2 offensive fouls and Haslem hitting the J, that spelled double whammy.... Well at least Beasley should play the entire 4th quarter it's a blowout.....LOL
That's unless Spo's changes/tweaks kick's in....LMAO!!!!
Why does this team either look REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD!!!
Read the name!!!!
I dont think haslem is the front court mate u want with bosh/amare. You lack shot blocking and size. Next to Shaq, Howard,or Yao, Haslem is the man.
ReplyDeleteNice Half. You gotta feel bad for Beas though. When he catches fire, he usually gets pulled. When Haslem does, he gets to play 16 straight minutes.
ReplyDeleteIs there a way to get my TypePad account to permanently stick instead of having to type in my info every time I post?
ReplyDeleteFebruary 9, 2010 5:41 PM
Is he the only person that has to do this? I am still working the kinks out. Did u become a member?
"{Is there a way to get my TypePad account to permanently stick instead of having to type in my info every time I post?"
ReplyDeleteYes click sign in and look for sign up on the login page
I-Win
ReplyDeleteBosh is not a center. We all need to get rid of that assumption that he'll be good enough to play Center for us. Amar'e maybe, but not likely.
We need to let D. Wright get a triple double in the 2nd half
ReplyDeleteBTW......welcome Helium, Godson, Cruise an whoever else I missed. JB is serving punch outside the lobby. Come in an take a load off. Somebody tell EddieO to bring his trade machine b4 10 and he gets in free.
ReplyDeletewow im suprised mike was still at the bench for so long. he better play for the entire second half. so far the heat is playing like a team.
ReplyDeleteGodsSon521
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way. I dont know where Ira and the other guys get the idea that Bosh is more of a center than Amare. Amare clearly is more able to play Center than bosh.
I think the difference is Bosh is more wiling to play center long term. Amare acts like a bitch sometimes. Still... Amare at center>>>>>>Bosh at center.
ReplyDeleteI am still learning the settings. If anybody would like to be an author (create topics) let me know so I can add u to the list. This thing doesnt seem so bad so far. I turned off the word verification.

I'd like to post topics and I'll always send links to Heat games and any other games as well....
Amare is a defensive liability at C while Bosh is to soft to play C we should consider drafting a C any suggestions?
ReplyDeleteoh by the way i like this new blog. :) It seems neutral and not chaotic like ira's blog.
ReplyDeleteOK, I have a gmail account so I just used that to sign. Thanks, kbboy.
ReplyDeleteNice blog. Way better than Ira's new shit. I can actualy say shit and donkey punch in the same post. Great job.
ReplyDeleteAs for the game, I don't know why the Heat haven't ran as much before. And it's apparently feeding the hot hand applies to everyone not named Beasley.
I haven't been following the draft. I dont know what we'll do about a big man. Maybe if we manage to get a top tier FA, Jermaine will return on the cheap
ReplyDeleted webz I think I need your email adress and anybody else who wants to post blog topics.
ReplyDeleteI don't care about Beas as long as we're winning
ReplyDelete"I think the difference is Bosh is more wiling to play center long term."
ReplyDeleteAgreed. Still, as good as Bosh is, I'm sure we'd be able to start Joel at Center. All you need is a guy who can defend, won't demand the ball, & won't need to play a lot of minutes (for when Bosh plays C so UD can play, lol)
Great ball movement tonight. 19 assists at the half. We average 18.7 per game on the season.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe we were(?) willing to dump Dorell for some cap relief. The guy is better than Q at almost everything and is perfectly suited for an up-tempo offense.
ReplyDeletekbboy you should set up a twitter account and follow B-ball sources maybe that can help think up topics
ReplyDeleteThose refs hate Beasley.
ReplyDeleteI will do my part to make this blog spot interesting. I can find 2 blog posts a day, heat related. If we can get some other fans (please none of those retards from realgm) I can make NBA topics as well when I post heat blogs.
ReplyDeleteyou*

Sounds good. I will also just steal random topics already written on other sites. lol
I added a pic to my gmail account and followed this blog. My pic is awesome, people will like it.
ReplyDeleteRockets are hoping to get back in this game via a 3pt barrage.
ReplyDeleteI actually think I am seeing different plays. A pick and roll with Skip and Beasley? Way to shake it up.
ReplyDeleteStop husling Beas!
ReplyDelete"Sounds good. I will also just steal random topics already written on other sites. lol"
ReplyDeletelol
Beasley with 4 fouls.... Oh, Oh..... I hope y'all are hungry... Don't know why but I have a taste for some GRITZZZZ, bacon and eggs!!!!!!! LMAO!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBah. We knew this was coming. Bring in Dorell ASAP.
ReplyDeletedamn, dorell has 7 assists already
ReplyDeleteTesting...
ReplyDeleteWhy did Spo sit Beasley with 4 fouls?
ReplyDeleteIs he gonna use him later in the 4th and doesn't want him to foul out?
Is this not a 20pt lead?
Ohshz here!
ReplyDeleteScola with the flop. Good blocking call ref
ReplyDeletekbboy just noticed the clock on your blog is 3 hours off.
ReplyDeleteWTF? When the hell did Battier start growing that Groucho mustache?
ReplyDeleteBattier's Ron Jeremy mustache is hilarious....LMAO!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteoh crap, I just noticed the clock as well. hahah. Lemme see if I can fix that.

ReplyDeleteLUIS SCOLA GET OUT OF THE WAY!
ReplyDeleteHoly shittttttttttttttttttt!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIs there a reason that Dorell hasn't entered this half yet?
ReplyDeleteNice dunk by Flash.
GET UP SCOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWade another poster on Scola, not as nice as Varejao tho, but very NASTY.....LMAO!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteFlash is back!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWade is on FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThis team is light years better when Alston is making some jumpers
ReplyDeletewhy isnt dorrell in? where's big kat? coach needs to make those tweaks!
ReplyDeleteShoot i'd complain if this game was close but I'm just enjoying this
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen Wade this energetic and motivated in a long time.
ReplyDeleteWADE JUST OWNED BROOKS. 2 HANDED BLOCK
ReplyDeleteA 2-handed block? Are you kidding, D-Wade?
ReplyDeleteNICE D# D-WADE!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhy does Mike Miller look all thugged out? lol
ReplyDeleteyea i really shouldn't be whining i mean this is the first time in a while that the heat is playing like a team. It seems weird to me though because mike isnt in the game :( poor kid. I hope this is the team that plays every game and not every other game.
ReplyDeleteWow. Big shot, Felton.
ReplyDeleteBeasley dug his own grave tonight, its jsut the breaks, he didnt get the calls. No beef with that. I still would like to see smarter decisions like resting Wade more and playing Jamal Magloire so for once we will have the tallest guy on the floor. Its not like Landry and Hayes can pull ot the paint. VS JO,Beasley, Haslem and Joel, its not very tough for the rockets short front line. Still, nice win.
ReplyDelete21 asts to 6= game
ReplyDelete24-6 sorry
ReplyDeleteWOW. Cook should be in H-O-R-S-E

So should Jay-Z's face...
"So should Jay-Z's face..."
ReplyDeleteCheap shot to my favorite rapper...
Did anybody see any adjustments tonight?
ReplyDeleteAll I saw was great bench play and guys hitting their shots.
Dwyane Wade
ReplyDelete8-14, 17 Pts
4 Rebs, 7 Assists
and we blew the other team out.
I wish it were like that more often.
I can honestly say I saw adjustments. We ran tonight a lot. Not many adjustments with the subs tho. I saw a lot mroe ball movement and a lot less Iso plays and Wade/Joel pick and rolls. Skip runs the offense well and runs, he just cant hit a shot. We already know Carlos can run it and hit his j.
ReplyDeleteGreat game
ReplyDeleteKbboy, are u going to have the summaries, and nifty points seconds after the game?
ReplyDeletecook has seriously regressed in his game! He's not making his shots like he use to.
ReplyDeleteYes we will have an after game blog. lol.
ReplyDeleteDid anybody see any adjustments tonight?
ReplyDeleteAll I saw was great bench play and guys hitting their shots.
We opened up the second quarter with JO although I don't know if it was related to Beas' foul trouble.
"Cheap shot to my favorite rapper"...
ReplyDeleteI'd assume by your screenname you were a Nas fan (God's Son his 6th album)
The ball movement did improve, but I think the running game was because of opportunities more than anything.
ReplyDeleteNot many "plays" being ran, but we are running and just moving the ball. That in itself is a welcomed change of pace. Pretty sure Spo cringed when Arroyo just shook Budinger.
ReplyDelete^^^^
ReplyDeleteTrue. Houston missed shots. Not too hard to see why we have a huge lead
Good tempo and a willingness to make the extra pass tonight. Seemed like we had more (meaning any at all) player movement tonight. Rotation seemed the same. I'm still puzzled as to why Dorell didn't come in the 3rd until like 4 minutes left after he killed in the first half.
ReplyDeleteGranted the game was all but over, but I did like the Arroyo/Cook/Wright/Beasley/Anthony to start the 4th. If Cook can actually buy a basket on most nights, we could turn to that more.
Beas has got to start being more aggressive. You can see him drifting when things aren't going well. I understand this isn't an ideal situation, but we absolutely need more of a focus effort from him.
At least we stopped the bleeding. Maybe we can swipe one in Atlanta tomorrow too. Head into the break with some momentum.
Arroyo showing off a bit. Funny.
ReplyDeleteHavent seen these players play this loose all year. Arroyo is being himself. Even wright is making pretty passes instead of being so fundamental.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I dont like the guy, it would have been nice to have Chalmers out there this game. This is a style that fits him. Lets responsibility and more running and attacking.
Joel throwing a block party.
ReplyDeleteEvery player has been good tonight, I want more Rocket players to attack the rim to see how many blocks Joel Anthony can rack up.
ReplyDeleteWay to make an appearance there James Jones. Piece of crap...
ReplyDeleteThe classic James Jones garbage time 3. Now you know the game is over
ReplyDeleteThe classic James Jones garbage time 3. Now you know the game is over
ReplyDelete============================
It's the 3 that always gives us hope that maybe he should get playing time the next game.
"I'd assume by your screenname you were a Nas fan (God's Son his 6th album)"
ReplyDeleteLol he's a close 2nd. Made this s.n after an album came out, & t just stuck. Not a big fan of constantly switching...
FINALLY! FEELS SO GOOD
ReplyDeleteit*
ReplyDeleteI manage to do it more than necessary, but it's hard to hate on Haslem. Good guy. Hope his Mom is OK.
ReplyDeletenew blog....with a familiar taste......lol
ReplyDeletewhat happened to haslem's mom?
ReplyDelete"Wright is, without question, currently the Heat’s best small forward. If winning is any sort of priority, there is no way he can be sacrificed in the name of the luxury tax."
ReplyDeleteMusic to my ears.
Great W tonight. Everybody was sharp. Umtempo is definitely yhe way to go with this team as currently constructed. Get the rebound and off to the races. What does D-Wright have to do to get Q-Rich's spot in the starting 5? He's long, athletic, plays solid defense and a pretty damn good facilitator which is most needed on this team. Beasley had to worry about the Donahey's tonight, but Haslem did what a solid BACK-UP PF should do and played very well tonight. Let's hope Spo doesn't get all starry eyed for Cap'n Gritttzzz and over plays him against the Hawks and D-Wade as always was greeeeat!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaslem said in the postgame interview that his mom was sic and in the hospitlak. He gave her a shoutout of sorts.
ReplyDeleteMiami Heat president Pat Riley has emerged as one of the most determined pursuers of Phoenix Suns forward Amar’e Stoudemire(notes), proposing several different packages that make available any of his players short of Dwyane Wade(notes), league sources told Yahoo.
ReplyDeleteThe Heat have discussed several scenarios with the Suns, including packages that include combinations of young players (Michael Beasley(notes), Dorell Wright(notes)) and expiring contracts (Jermaine O’Neal(notes) and Quentin Richardson(notes)). The Heat are also willing to part with their 2010 first-round draft pick.
”Nobody is pushing harder on this than Riley,” one league source said.
I HOPE THIS IS WRONG unless we are getting Iggy or Butler as well with Dalembert or Haywood because Amare isn't going to win shyt.
Looks like I'm a bit late for the party!
ReplyDeleteOMG Lebron is playing amazinggggg
ReplyDelete
